    Joseph Pilates originally created this method of exercise for the rehabilitation of internment camp victims, using his deep knowledge of the body to strengthen the muscles and joints in the way they were DESIGNED to function.

    Pilates is a strength training workout that requires you to focus and use your mind to move your body in detailed ways.  The ability of our brain to move our body in a balanced and properly aligned way strengthens the muscles in a way no other form of exercise does.

    When done correctly, each Pilates exercise allows the muscles to be strengthened and lengthened, creating a lean muscle tone rather than a bulky one.

    Using an anatomically-based approach, each workout is specifically designed to open tight areas and strengthen weak areas.  Exercises build on each other and therefore allow each client to progress rather than just doing different exercises.

    Lauren Wilson, Owner & Instructor

    I am so thankful you’re here! It gives me great joy to help and encourage people with their health!  


    I have a niche for analyzing biomechanics and progressing clients through challenging phases specifically personalized to your needs!  Whether it's post-rehab training or challenging the most elite athletes - I love this job!


    I am a STOTT Pilates Certified Instructor and have been teaching for since 2009. I have completed intense training in Mat Pilates, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrels. I have also completed specialty training for injuries and special populations including osteoporosis, scoliosis, osteoarthritis, disc herniation, knee, ankle, hip and shoulder injuries as well as prenatal Pilates. I have also enjoyed my training in fascial movement, Pilates for men, athletic conditioning, golf conditioning, and props including: cardio tramp, mini-stability ball, BOSU, Pilates edge, medicine ball, stability barrel, trigger point, TRX Suspension Trainer and barre.  Additionally, I have been certified through NASM as a personal trainer and certified through PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique) to further dancer's conditioning and performance.


    I have danced since the age of 3 and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet Pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma. I owned a Pilates studio in Texas for 5 years before moving to Oklahoma. After 2 years of owning a brick & mortar studio in Oklahoma during the Covid pandemic, I saw that my efforts were best used offering challenging and efficient Virtual Workout Programs and Courses.  So excited to have you train with Olive Tree from wherever you are!


    I love the intricacies of the way our bodies were designed to work best. I have found that Pilates truly cares for this design and enables the body to stay safe while getting stronger. I love seeing the difference people feel through my Pilates training.

    Why Olive Tree?

    Olive trees are resilient. Thanks to their sturdy and extensive root system, they are resistant to drought, disease, and fire. This robust root system is capable of regenerating the tree even if the above-ground structure is destroyed. Olive trees can live exceptionally long, up to several centuries, and can remain productive for as long, if they are pruned correctly and regularly. I believe that Pilates allows the roots of our health to dig deep and grow stronger, allowing us to flourish in health and in life.  

    My Hope

    My hope is to care for your health holistically through Pilates, cardio training, and proper recovery and rest. Through my own personal experience as well as through helping others, I have seen the effect that our lives can have on our bodies and the effect our bodies can have on our lives.  Ultimately, my hope is that I can help you steward your health so that you can live life more fully with the people you love!
